Industry: Automotive
With embedded photogammetry algorithms Spatium 3D Scanner is able to scan large parts with no need for third part photogrammetry. The user could easily set a large volume scan.
Spatium FORMA Software is able to auto align all the acquisitions (shots) and perform bundle adjustment with all pictures taken by the scanner. This assure accuracy and well aligned data even with large parts.



Industry: Dental and Design
Spatium 3D Scanner flexibility allows scan from large to small parts with a fast and easy setup.
It is possible to achieve point distances of 0.032 mm capturing full details with a low noise and precise point cloud.
Theses scans were made with Spatium 3D Scanner 4MP, with small area setup.


Industry: Home appliance / Sheet metal
The parts can be digitized without special fixing and time-consuming aligment. A dense point cloud is virtually aligned (RPS, 3-2-1 or Best-fit) and a 3D deviation colormap is generated measuring every point deviation from a CAD reference.
The rapid analisys reduces tooling tryout time and enhance tracking production and first article inspection.


Industry: Foundry
Clinder heads are complex parts with complex tooling. Using Spatium FMM 3D Scanner was possible to measure whole cylinder head tooling and parts within 3 days. As Designed vs. As Built reports was generated and repairs can be accurated planned.
Geomagic Qualify software provided tools for 3D and 2D analysis. All the information was compiled and automactly reports were generated and able to be exported in diferent formats (XLS, HTML, DOC e PDF).


Industry: Foundry
Complex tooling and sand cores inspecion is very dificult to be executed on foundry industry. In many cases is necessary to cast the part and several sections have to be made on the part for wall thickness analysis or assembly analysis.
In this case, KSB Pumps Brazilian Subsidiary, that has one Spatium FMM 2MP 3D Scanner and softwares Geomagic Studio and Qualify, to digitize parts, and inspect tooling, assembly and simulate the cast process from STL digitized model.


Industry: Plastic
5 samples of a coldstart gasoline reservatory were digitized for first article 3D inspection.
In this case a polygonal model was created for reverse engineering purposes.
